My specialty is wedding photography, where I pour my heart and soul into recording every detail of your special day. From the jittery excitement of getting ready to the exuberant celebrations and the tender moments of love and joy, I am there, my lens focused on preserving your memories.
For me, being a wedding photographer isn't simply a profession as I have set aside my Professional Accounting qualifications to follow my dream as a photographer. My aim is to capture the love, laughter, and the array of emotions that truly make your day one-of-a-kind, giving you tangible memories that will endure a lifetime. My approach is straightforward and genuine, devoid of unnecessary embellishments or ostentation.
Your wedding day is about you, and my mission is to narrate your story as genuinely and beautifully as I can. I am thrilled at the prospect of being part of your journey and co-creating timeless memories with you.
I shoot mainly in natural light with natural colors and prefer a journalistic style of photographing a wedding day (basically a fly on the wall to capture natural moments but I do put my couples into poses to make them feel comfortable)
But my love for photography doesn't end with weddings. As an ardent nature photographer, I also find joy and inspiration in the wild. During my downtime, you'll often find me immersed in nature, my shutter clicking away at the unique moments that nature bestows upon me. My wife and I, our small boy and our two dogs are based on a farm in Villiersdorp but willing to travel anywhere in the world.
