I’m Etienne, a Natural Wedding Photographer and Videographer

I love weddings!

I have been involved with the wedding industry for the past 10 years, whether it was as a DJ as a student or photographing them as a professional! I love documenting special moments and I want to create the best image as simple as possible. I shoot mainly in natural light with natural colors and prefer a journalistic style of photographing a wedding day (basically a fly on the wall to capture natural moments but I do put my couples into poses to make them feel comfortable)

My wife, our two kids, and I live on a peaceful farm just outside Villiersdorp — alongside our two energetic dogs. It's where life is simple, and inspiration is everywhere.

I studied Accounting in the Free State, but left that path behind to follow what truly makes me feel alive — capturing real moments through photography.

When I’m not photographing people, you’ll probably find me with a camera in hand, out in nature or quietly tracking wildlife — it’s where my love for storytelling began.

I’m an introvert who hates being in front of the camera — which is why I’ve built my approach around helping people feel completely comfortable behind it.
